FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: catalyst contains, wt %: pentasil-group zeolites with molar ratio SiO2/Al2O3 20-150 and containing residual amount of sodium oxide no more than 0.2%, 20.0-80.0; nickel oxide and/or cobalt oxide, 0.5-5.0; and/or molybdenum trioxide, 5.0-20.0; gamma-alumina, the balance; and additionally at least two oxides selected from group including ferric oxide, magnesium oxide, and calcium oxide taken in any mutual proportion, concentration of each ranging from 0.01 to 3.0 wt % and total concentration of these oxides not exceeding 5.0 wt %. Hydrodeparaffination process involves bringing petroleum or gas-condensate fractions into contact with above- defined catalyst at 240-550 C, pressure 1.0-8.0 MPa, volumetric flow rate 0.1 to 10.0 h-1, and hydrogen-to-raw material volume ratio 100 to 1500. EFFECT: increased n-paraffin-isomerizing activity of catalyst. 3 cl, 2 tbl, 45 ex
