FIELD: electrophysics, in particular, systems used for high-frequency heating of plasma ions in installations for separation of isotopes by the ion- cyclotron resonance method (ICR method). SUBSTANCE: use is made of a planar- type solenoidal antenna in the form of a solenoidal antenna stretched along the magnetic field, having the shape of a rectangle in section perpendicular to the magnetic field, one of the sides of the triangle is mush larger than the other, or an oval shape provided the oval width-to-height ratio is mach larger than 1. EFFECT: enhanced capacity of the ICR method due to the increase of the plasma density, when the uniformity of heating is preserved, there is no attenuation of the external high-frequency field within the plasma due to heating of the target isotope at the second harmonic (doubled frequency) of the cyclotron frequency of the target isotope by vorticity high-frequency electric field. 2 dwg
