FIELD: abrasive working of helical surfaces of precise screws, mainly with high leading angle of turns. SUBSTANCE: head includes grinding wheel, base and body jointly connected with it. Hollow mandrel with basic mounting cone opening is arranged in body with possibility for rotation. Grinding wheel has profiled cutting surface of central opening and it is embedded into metallic bandage creating compression efforts in wheel. Bandage is joined with basic cone mounting opening of mandrel and it is fastened by means of annular disc and screws along mandrel periphery. EFFECT: enhanced quality and efficiency of working. 6 dwg ,
