FIELD: blasting operations, applicable in initiation lines and lines for transmission of detonation signal. SUBSTANCE: the connecting unit has a clipping member which is engageable with the end of the body member for transmission of signal so as to produce an arched groove between them for holding the line that receives one or several lines for transmission of signal from the output end of the detonator. The clipping member has a thickness decreasing in the direction from its near end at least to its middle point, and preferably a non-decreasing width from its near end to the open end of the groove for holding the line. EFFECT: facilitated side insertion of lines for transmission of signal in the groove for holding the line and their holding when used within a wide range of temperatures, enhanced reliability of protection against shrapnel. 24 cl, 18 dwg, 1 tbl
