FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production high-purity drinking waters used as mineralized therapeutic and table water and also as drinking and process water suitable for preparation of foods. Process consists in that tap water is subjected to primary purification and then to reverse-osmosis purification, acidified to pH 4.5-5.5, passed through double-bed filtration charge with velocity 1.2-7 cu.m/h. Double-bed charge consists of crushed quartz support and partly calcined dolomite with particle size 2.5-4.5 mm. When passed through filtration charge, water is saturated with calcium and magnesium hydrocarbonates until mineralization between 50 and 1500 mg/l is attained. Partly calcined dolomite is prepared by calcination of natural dolomite at temperatures of order of 850 C to give CaCO3•MgO containing, vol %: CaCO3 60.0-70.0, free CaO 0.8-1.5, MgCO3 5.0-6.0, free MgO 20.0-30.0, and space minerals Ц the rest. EFFECT: reduced sodium chloride and sulfate adversely influencing human health leading to various vascular diseases. 1 tbl
