SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of operation of belt conveyor rollers installed in roller supports and furnished with axle on which cylindrical shell is installed for rotation of antifriction bearings with fixed and rotating races, after expiration of definite operating period of rollers, they are re-installed in roller supports to make fixed races of bearings occupy position in which they are turned through 180 deg relative to their initial position.
