FIELD: sealing annular gaps of movable joints performing reciprocation motion in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. SUBSTANCE: sealing ring includes elastic base and envelope of tricot material made of twisted combination yarn including complex polytetrafluoroethylene yarn with linear density 30-50 denier in combination with cotton, carbon, glass or synthetic complex filament having linear density 30-50 denier and 1-6 foldings. Thickness of envelope exceeds value of sealed gap by 30-40%. Envelope may be formed only on portion of sealing ring being in contact with sealed member. Envelope includes in addition grease such as graphite in quantity 4-10 mass %. Envelope is made of double-layer tricot material; its working layer has, mainly polytetrafluoroethylene filaments and its back layer has, mainly, cotton, carbon, glass or synthetic filaments.
