FIELD: quantum electronics; wavelength-adjusted high-power lasers. SUBSTANCE: laser has hybrid optical cavity formed by round spherical and composite disk- type metal mirrors. Spherical areas of mirrors (one concave and other convex) are focused and their angular dimensions are equal. One of mirrors has output window along its axis and other one has hole that receives diffraction grating. The latter is mounted in self-collimating manner and turns relative to cavity axis. Metal mirrors are connected to high-frequency pump and function as electrodes with gap between them wherein discharge is maintained, active medium is produced, and radiation beams are generated. EFFECT: provision for wavelength- adjustable radiation and for maintaining spatial coincidence during adjustment; enhanced power of laser. 2 dwg
