FIELD: valve engineering, tight separation of high and low pressure spaces working in conditions of widespread temperature interval. SUBSTANCE: valve-damper contains housing provided with a polymer sealing. The housing is separated by cut-off member disk into two cavities of high and low pressures. The cut-off member is connected to the drive. The housing is made of two half-housings separated by sealing. The sealing is made of spiral ring whose inner surface is spherical. The spherical surface interacts with the outer spherical surface of the disc of cut-off member and is spring-loaded in the axial direction to one of the half-housing with the use of flexible sealing ring. The spiral ring is mounted in a spaced relation to the second half-housing. The axis of the disk rotation is displaced from the spiral ring by a such distance that the tangent of the slope of the generatrix arc of the circumference of contact of the disk and the spiral ring is larger or, at least, equal to antifriction coefficient between the spiral disk and the cut-off member disk material.
