FIELD: mixing technique, namely, continuous high-efficiency mixing of liquid with liquid or liquid with solid particles. SUBSTANCE: plant includes double-phase mixing pump in the form of double-side centrifugal impeller with bin 4 for receiving loose component, inlet 8 and outlet 11 manifolds with dampers 9,12; additional pump 14; locking organs 15, 16,17,18,23,24. At emergency shutdown of double-phase mixing pump, locking organs 17, 18 are closed, locking organs 15,16 are open, additional pump 14 is driven and main pipelines are washed out by means of clean liquid. If plant has two double-phase mixing pumps, at emergency shutdown of one of such pumps locking organs in main pipelines of that pump are closed, locking organs in main pipelines of other pump are open. The last pump is driven and mixing process is going on. It is possible to realize mode of combined operation of both mixing pumps in order to enhance efficiency of plant.
