FIELD: pipeline fittings, namely devices for switching on and off liquid flows. SUBSTANCE: valve head includes body having in its wall at least one window for passing working fluid; rod arranged in cavity of body along its axis with possibility of limited rotation. Rod has two portions; its first portion rests upon body and it is joined at one side with flywheel. Second portion of rod is joined with ceramic member of lock. Ceramic member of lock is pressed to reciprocal ceramic member secured to body. First portion of rod is made of plastics and it is connected with body through multistep sealing. Second portion of rod is made of non-ferrous metal. EFFECT: reduced metal consumption, enhanced sealing quality of movable parts, stable operation of valve head. 3 cl, 2 dwg
