FIELD: measurement technology; diagnosis of fatigue wear of metalwork and prediction of remaining operating time. SUBSTANCE: probable areas of damage are found by any standard method and check surfaces are prepared. Preparation of check surfaces consists in cleaning their surfaces in order to remove roughness to Ra= 0,16...=,032 mkm. Then sensors are fitted for study of optical properties of surface. Linear dimensions of each check surface shall exceed linear sizes of light mark of optical part optoelectronic transducer. Change in signal of optoelectronic transducers recorded and analyzed by means of computer illustrates change in optical properties of check under action of loading in the course of operation. Detection and quantitative estimation of change in optical properties of check surface are used as measure of degree of fatigue wear of check surface under test and degree of its serviceability. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and resolving power of diagnosis due to observation and prediction of dynamic of accumulation of fatigue wear in time. 2 dwg
