FIELD: electrical engineering; automatic control and switching of electric circuits. SUBSTANCE: two alternatives of reed contact are proposed. First alternative is characterized in that contact members on initial section of overhung portion have constant thickness which then gradually increases. According to second alternative, contact members on initial section have constant thickness and then their thickness uniformly increased and further remains constant up to loose portion. In this alternative of reed contact reset ratio is increased from 0.5 to 0.95. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of both alternatives. 2 cl, 6 dwg, 3 tbl
