FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: after magnetic annealing, reed switch is welded using nitrogen feed, and after terminal coating the reed switch undergoes ion plasma processing with multiple exposure to high-voltage spark discharges of 1000-2500 V voltage for 0.05-0.2 ms, with exposure duration of 0.7-1 ms and alteration of impulse polarity at high-voltage generator output each 7-10 ms. In 30 s of described processing, spatial nitrided areas of 80 nm depth are formed on contacting surfaces of contact parts.
EFFECT: simplified method of reed switch manufacturing due to replacement of galvanic operations with novel manufacturing process allowing to exclude expensive precious metal from the process.
