FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering and may be used in electronic industry when making magnetically operated sealed switches. A feature of the proposed method is the fact that before and after azotising of contact parts in a magnetically operated sealed switch, its breakthrough voltage is measured, and thickness of the azotised layer is monitored, which is defined in accordance with the following formula: t = C(Uo-Ua)/Uo.
EFFECT: increased percentage of yield of good products and level of quality of magnetically operated sealed switches with reduction of their prime cost.
