FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying receptor-binding vasoactive intestinal peptide bound in covalent way to chelating component of technetium or rhenium. Derivatives of receptor-binding vasoactive intestinal peptides marked with technetium-99m are used as scintigraphic reflecting agents. Derivatives of receptor-binding vasoactive intestinal peptides and vasoactive intestinal peptide analogs marked with cytotoxic radioactive isotopes like rhenium-186 (188Re) or rhenium-188 (188Re) are used as radiotherapy agents. EFFECT: improve production method; wide range of radiological and therapeutical application fields. 11 cl, 5 tbl
