FIELD: abrasive machining. SUBSTANCE: method includes acceleration of working medium flow to working velocity and its direction onto machined part. Laid layer by layer on part surface are sheets of graph and carbon papers and fixed to part by a sheet of protective material to protect the sheets found under it from premature failure and to effect, acceptation and adequate transmission of force of impact of single abrasive and entire flow of working medium and to restore its functions after deformation. Protective material is used in form of foil 0.3 mm thick, vinyl leather based on industrial fabric, Specifications TU 17-21-11- 04-95, sheets of rubberized fabric, Specifications TU 38.304-10-68-95. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of abrasive jet trace area in machining, both, flat parts and parts in shape of body of revolution or of complicated shape with use of abrasive in form of steel and iron shots, reduced cost of process and higher productivity of labor. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
