FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely manufacture of isotropic electrical steel for magnetic circuits of rotary apparatuses such as engines, generators. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of melting in converter metallic alloy of next content: C- 0.03%; S -0.06%; Mn - 0.17%; Si - 1.54%; Al - 0.38%; nitrogen - 0.006% and casting slabs; heating slab up to 1120 C; subjecting heated slab to hot rolling with termination temperature 830 C, coiling it at 670 C, etching, cold rolling and then subjecting it to decarburizing annealing at 930 C.
