FIELD: metallurgy, in particular anisotropic electrical steel.
SUBSTANCE: after smelting claimed steel contains (mass %) carbon 0.025-0.06; manganese 0.30-0.50; silicium 3.00-3.60; aluminum 0.011-0.017; nitrogen 0.004-0.012; copper 0.40-0.60; and balance: iron and inevitable impurities. Steel is continuously poured, hot rolled; cold rolled in one or two steps; and annealed by decarburizing, high-temperature, and rectifying annealing. In case of treatment of liquid state carbon, manganese and silicium content is correlated according to equation: [Si] = {3.2+20([C]-0.035)+0.5([Mn]-0.4)±0.07, wherein [Si], [C] and [Mn] are silicium, carbon, and manganese content (mass %) in cast metal. Invention affords the ability to improve grain quality due to stabilization of phase composition in hot-rolling process.
EFFECT: insulating coating of improved quality; reduced eddy-current losses.
