FIELD: cleaning of industrial gaseous waste containing deleterious organic matters, applicable in chemical, petrochemical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: the device has a body of a rectangular section accommodating a combustion chamber with a burner and pipe connection for feeding of ventilation effluents, after burner chamber with a catalytic element, the catalytic element has several layers of glass-fiber fabric activated by metals and/or oxides that are pulled through the rods fastened in the body in two rows in a chess-board order. The distance between the rows of rods exceeds the distance between the rods in a row at least by 1.5 times. Used as a burner is a spray-type gas burner installed at a distance of at least two times larger than the distance between the rows of rods in the catalytic element. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of operation, reduced overall dimensions, reduced specific amount of metal per structure. 2 cl, 1 dwg
