SUBSTANCE: agent for reducing hydrodynamic resistance is prepared by (co)polymerization of alphaolefins having from 4 to 14 carbon atoms on highly active titaniummagnesium catalyst applied on magnesium chloride and cocatalyst such as organoaluminum compound at -30 to +50 C in the presence of catalyst system modifier such as organosilicon compound and is used for transporting hydrocarbon fluids. EFFECT: reduced polymerization time, lower consumption of titanium compound, increased characteristics viscosity of (co)polymer, good yield of product with and good solubility in hydrocarbons. 6 cl, 1 tbl
