FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing ultra-high molecular weight polyalphaolefins. A mixture of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst on a carrier without an internal donor and cocatalyst is contacted with the alpha-olefin monomer to form a polymerization mix. Polymerization mixt is kept at -14 for 24 hours, then at a temperature of 25 °C for 14 days to achieve a conversion of more than 90 %. Monomer of alpha-olefins is selected from the group consisting of 1-octene, 1-decene, 1-hexene, 1-dodecene. Polymerization is carried out in bulk in inert and anoxic conditions.

EFFECT: production of ultra-high molecular weight polyalphaolefins that allow increasing the throughput in pipelines by reducing the frictional resistance in a turbulent flow.
