FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemistry of high-molecular compounds. Method for the production of anti-turbulent additives to organic media, including oil to reduce hydrodynamic resistance when pumped through pipelines, is described, which consists in the catalytic polymerization of hexene in the presence of (70–88) vol. % solvent, a titanium-magnesium catalyst and an organoaluminum co-catalyst to a polymer content (5–10) wt.% with obtaining a polymer solution, and separating the polymer from the solution by the method of water degassing with feeding the solution through a steam injector device, a mixture of phenolic and amine antioxidant is previously injected into polymerizate, stabilized by a cationic surfactant selected from the group of quaternary ammonium salts with a total dosage of antioxidant 0.5–1.0 wt.% for the polymer and the weight ratio of surfactant : antioxidant, equal to (0.05–0.1):1.0, followed by separating the polymer chips from the water on the vibrating screen, mixing the polymer chips with the dispersion medium and crushing the chips to size 0.5–1 mm.
EFFECT: development of an industrial high-performance method for the production of poly-alpha-olefin dispersions for the production of ultra-high-molecular poly-alpha-olefins, which are anti-turbulent additives to organic liquids without the destruction of poly-alpha-olefins at the stages of degassing and crushing.
