FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve timing gears of internal combustion engines with hydraulic drive and it can be used to control valve timing phases of two-stroke and four- stroke internal combustion engines. Hydraulic drive of engine gas-feed valves includes spring-loaded gas feed valve, valve pusher, plunger pump with make-up line and compensating reservoir accommodating movable member. Pump and reservoir are connected by high-pressure pipes. Electromagnetic spool is arranged in upper part of compensating reservoir. Inner space of compensating reservoir is connected with high-pressure pipe through this spool. Movable member is installed in housing of compensating reservoir on spring. Modulus of elasticity of movable member spring is less than modulus of elasticity of gas-feed valve spring. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation of internal combustion engine owing to provision of change of gas-feed valve closing moment depending on engine crankshaft rotational speed. 2 dwg
