FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel injection systems. Proposed fuel injection system of multifuel diesel engine has nozzle with space over needle. Space is connected with underneedle space by channel in which bypass valve is installed and is connected with plunger pump through high pressure pipe by means of double-action delivery valve. Inner surface of delivery element from side of relief element of double- action delivery valve is made in form of truncated cone whose base engages with relief element. Invention improves stability of level of remaining pressure in high-pressure line of multifuel diesel engine at its unloading in process of operation when light fuels and their mixtures are used.
