FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: there is proposed process of synchronization of pseudorandom numerical sequence with indetermination of sign of maximum length having characteristic polynomial of order of k with vector of coefficients A which can be expressed as A=[ A = [1a1a2...ak-11], where each coefficient from a1 to ak-1 is equal to 1 for certain position of intermediate branch and is equal to 0 in other cases. Received symbolic sequence is fed to shift register having K=k+1 digits with P intermediate branches in locations determined by vector of coefficients Ain which is expressed as
where elements
and
present corresponding inverse values a1 and ak-1 and sign ⊕ symbolizes modulo 2 sum. In this case P is positive integer less than K. Proper correlation signal is recursively added at input for received symbolic sequence and at input of each intermediate branch of shift register. Each correlation signal is received thanks to correlation of P+1 such signals from input, intermediate branches and output of shift register which differ from signal to which proper correlation signal is added. EFFECT: invention is especially suitable for pilot synchronization of CDMA terminals. 8 cl, 5 dwg
