FIELD: railway transport; freight, shunting and industrial diesel locomotives and electric locomotives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of devices intended for suspension of traction electric motors from locomotive bogie frame. Proposed suspension of traction motors is provided with bars between which compressed springs are placed, bolts bracing the springs, axles passed through bars and connecting the bars with bogie frame brackets. Springs are made in form of upper and lower sets with crossmember placed in between. Axles connecting bars with bogie frame brackets are passed through side cantilevers. Upper and lower cantilevers of crossmember pass, respectively, through upper and lower bars in which hole is made for fitting spacer spring and replaceable sliding or rolling supports for electric motor brackets. Axle is installed in upper and lower cantilevers of crossmember for connecting crossmeber with brackets of electric motor. EFFECT: improved dynamic characteristics of locomotive, reduced dynamic loads on bogie frame, electric motor and wheelset axle, increased service life of these units and bogie as a whole. 3 cl, 5 dwg
