FIELD: railway transport; mounting on traction motors on frames of locomotive bogies. SUBSTANCE: traction motor suspension has bar connecting brackets of traction motors with brackets of bogie frame. Hinge joint is installed at one end of bar by means of which bar is connected with bracket of traction motor. Flat or shaped flange at other end of bar serves to connect bar with bogie frame bracket or suspension of other motor and simultaneously with bogie frame bracket. Shock absorber is installed between flange of bar and bracket of bogie frame. Invention is aimed at improving dynamics of locomotive, reducing transverse dynamic loads on bogie frame, motor, wheelsets and rails, making it possible to transmit tractive force from axle of wheelset through motor to bogie frame. EFFECT: provision of radial setting of wheelset axle when negotiating curved sections of track, improved dynamic of bogie, increased its service life, reduced resistance to running and cut down fuel consumption. 2 cl, 2 dwg
