FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making of reels with wound-on continuous flexible material and covering of reel with envelope to form bale for delivery of material to consumer. Core of reel has definite number of longitudinal support members and two flat end face rings, each provided with central hole, inner round concentrical support surface with pre-set radius and slots to meet shape of support surface. End face parts of support members are brought into meshing with slots to secure end face rings and support members to each other. Inner sides of support members coincide with support surfaces of end face rings, and end face surfaces coincide with outer sides of end face rings. Invention provides description of method of manufacturing of indicated reel starting from assembling of its core. EFFECT: reduced cost of reel and shipment expenses for delivering pack with wound-on material to consumer. 13 cl, 10 dwg
