FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in control over development of oil deposits with a number of jointly operated oil objects. SUBSTANCE: method includes oil sampling from each producing object and determination of optical density of samples in visible part of spectrum with different wave length, subsequent taking samples of oil from jointly operated objects and determination of relative oil production rate. Determined alongside with optical density of oils are their specific density, viscosity, sulfur content and derivative parameters of optical density. Obtained data are subjected to statistical processing and parameters of oils of different objects which differ materially form one another are relieved. These parameters are used for determination of relative oil production rates by each relieved oil parameter by formulas qi= ax-ai/ai-aj,qj= 1-qi, where ax is value of oil parameter from jointly operated objects; ai and aj are values of parameters of oil samples from i-th and j-th objects; qi is relative oil production rate of i-th object; qi is relative oil production rate of j-th object; 1 is total oil production. Obtained series of values is ranked, extreme values are rejected and remaining values are used for calculation of average value of relative production rates of each of two objects. In case of necessity, if number of jointly operated objects exceeds two, method of successive bifurcation is used for calculation of fraction of oil in each object. Method allow calculation of relative production rates of wells with number of operated objects exceeding two with accuracy of 0.95-0.99.
