FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: flow is passes through measurement section in the form of branch pipe- elbow pipe of rectangular section whose height relates to mean radius of turn in plane passing through axis of measurement section as 0.8:1.5. Flow is accelerated at inlet to measurement section and at outlet parameters of flow are recovered to initial values across recovery section with narrowing degree 1.3-1.5. Difference of static pressures is measured in diametrically opposite points of section of measurement section. EFFECT: increased accuracy and authenticity of measurements. 1 dwg
