FIELD: boiler equipment; separation, entrainment, accumulation and removal of solid particles from high-temperature flows of flue gases passing through heating surfaces in convective trunk of boiler working on high-ash coal. SUBSTANCE: louver-type separator is used for entrapping ash and sand particles from gas flow in boiler gas duct; separator has baffle unit made in form of louvers consisting of several guide strips mounted in way of flow of flue gases in branch of convective trunk from zone of badly contaminated gases; separator is equipped with unit for removal of ash and sand particles after settling; it is additionally provided with louver strips located in way of flow in smoke stack along line inclined at 70 deg. relative to level. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning flue gases without evacuation of them from active heating zone in boiler convective trunk. 2 cl, 1 dwg
