FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: optically controlled devices OVD are employed for various purposes, for instance, in the capacity of elements testing authenticity. Proposed optical device is made of pixels. There are at least two collections of pixels which present result of graphic reconstruction of phases determined by Fourier transform for cards of observation angles definite for each pixel in each similar collection of pixels. Such optically controlled device is manufactured with use of recording by illumination when shutter opens and employment of expanded converging laser beam of image of card of pixel generated as result of graphic reconstruction of phase found in consequence of Fourier transform for cards of observation angles and of subsequent reduction of card to specified size by means of lens. Then shutter interrupts laser light beam, photosensitive material in which optically controlled device is manufactured by recording is moved to position corresponding to next pixel with use of movable table of coordinatograph and procedure is repeated till recording for entire optically controlled device is completed. It is suggested that image of card of pixel should be formed between aids expanding beam, expanding laser beam and lens in equipment for manufacture of optically controlled device with use of recording. EFFECT: increased functional flexibility and enlarged range of employed optically controlled devices. 8 cl, 3 dwg
