SUBSTANCE: generator 1 has rotor 2 and stator 3 aligned against axis 4 of revolution of rotor 2 and cooled by means of at least one coolant circulating circuit 5; generator conveys power to mains 6 through at least one device 7 that functions to match operating frequency of generator 1 with that of mains 6; stator 3 incorporates at least part of components of frequency matching device 7. According to invention, part of components 9 of device 7 mounted in stator are arranged within reach of generator coolant circulating system 5.
