FIELD: devices measuring corrosion in underground steel pipe-lines. SUBSTANCE: invention can be utilized to determine risk of electrochemical corrosion of underground metal structures and to find efficiency of action of electrochemical protection. Comparison electrode has case made of dielectric material, copper rod and potential transmitter connected to measurement device by corresponding conductors. Membrane is mounted between porous bottom of case and electrolyte. Copper rod is continuation of copper conductor which are manufactured as one unit in the form of spiral. Recess housing potential transmitter is made in case of electrode. Bottom of case is mounted in stepped location seat for employment of ion-exchange membranes of various types. EFFECT: increased reliability and prolonged service life of comparison electrode, unification of electrodes by utilized electrolytes and type of ion-exchange membranes. 2 cl, 2 dwg
