FIELD: power generators for chemical-to-electrical energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: generator built around fuel element with liquid electrolyte has at least one fuel element incorporating two separate chambers each accommodating electrode; first one is cathode chamber filled with oxygen-containing gas and incorporating air electrode; second one is anode chamber filled with hydrogen- containing gas that incorporates fuel electrode. Each chamber is provided with liquid electrolyte feeding device functioning so that mentioned electrolyte arrives directly at surface of electrode placed in respective chamber, drains off this surface, and forms transient film on the latter and drain allowing for electrolyte escape from chamber; drains of anode and cathode chambers are combined to constitute common drain for electrolyte.
