FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: alkaline cell has container with cover made of insulation material resistant to effect of alkalis. Container houses units of positive and negative electrodes. Each unit also carries two additional electrodes placed at angle with extreme electrodes. Each pair of additional electrodes of opposite polarity is parallel one another and is contained between poles of upper and lower permanent magnets, first of them being positioned on cover and turned downwards with their northern pole and second additional electrodes are located on bottom of container and turned upwards with their southern poles. All magnets are insulated from electrolyte presenting aqueous solution of alkali contained inside of container. EFFECT: increased operational characteristics of cell. 9 dwg
