FIELD: heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed electric heater is related teat exchange equipment and can be used in plants cleaning rare gases. It has sealed enclosure which houses electric heating sections coming in the form of bundle of flexible insulated electric heating elements wound in path of flow of medium with different pitches. Same elements not connected to electric power supply are employed as spacers in sections with rarefied coiling. Sealed enclosure communicates with the aid of pipe-line with vessel located at ambient temperature and is filled with helium. Dimensions of vessel are determined from condition of equality of pressures of heated fluid medium and helium in pipe clearance.
