FIELD: methods of production of high-tensile isotopes; applicable, for instance, in research of muon catalysis of thermonuclear reactions. SUBSTANCE: method consists in location of ampoule 1 in target 2; evacuation of cavity of target 2 with its subsequent connection to hydrogen isotope utilization system 3; filling of ampoule 1 with gaseous hydrogen isotopes including tritium; cooling of target 2 up to liquefaction of hydrogen isotopes in ampoule 1 and accumulation in it of calculated quantity of hydrogen liquid isotopes. Located simultaneously with ampoule 1 in cavity of target 2 is high-pressure hydrogen isotopes thermodesorption source 5. Bodies of ampoule 1 and source 5 are multilayer. Prior to supply of isotopes to ampoule 1, ventilated interjacket cavities 6 of bodies are connected to hydrogen isotopes utilization system 3. After accumulation of calculated quantity of hydrogen liquid isotopes in ampoule 1, the latter is disconnected from low-pressure source 4 and connected with thermodesorption source 5. Ampoule 1 is disconnected from thermodesorption source 5 upon attainment of dynamic equilibrium in system of vapor-liquid phases of hydrogen isotopes. EFFECT: provision of radiating safety during prolonged exposition of target at high temperatures, and possible production of hydrogen heavy isotopes in ampoule with densities specified in the invention description. 2 cl, 1 dwg
