FIELD: production of microtargets for inertial thermonuclear fusion. SUBSTANCE: proposed method depends on diffusion and includes microshell loading in container, its filling with gas until desired pressure is attained, and its exposure to high temperature for certain time followed by cooling down. Novelty is that prior to exposure to high temperature for certain time microshells are subjected to action of high-energy particles. EFFECT: enhanced microshell permeability control range enabling filling of low-permeability shells with gas. 1 cl, 2 dwg
