FIELD: power engineering industry; applicable in designing of devices for conversion of one type of energy into another one, for instance, by electrolysis. SUBSTANCE: device for conversion of energy, for instance, by electrolysis contains revolving vessel with shaft. Revolving vessel is filled with electrolyte solution. Vessel is installed on framework and connected with rotary drive. Device has electrodes, channels for supply of electrolyte solution into vessel and withdrawal of electrolysis products and heat exchanger. Device electrodes are short-circuited to one another or connected in to circuit via power consumer. Vessel is installed to provide for angular velocity of its rotation ω, determined by mathematical relationship given in invention formula. The invention is aimed at provision of device for parallel conversion of mechanical and heat energies into electric and chemical ones. EFFECT: higher efficiency of electrolysis with production of electric energy and heat utilization alongside with production of oxygen and hydrogen. 2 dwg
