FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power machine building and may be used in creation of device for transformation of one type of energy into the other one by means of electrolysis. Device for transformation of energy by electrolysis comprises tank arranged with the possibility of rotation, filled with aqueous solution of electrolyte, installed on shaft and connected to rotation drive, electrodes, and also channels for supply of electrolyte aqueous solution in tank and drain of electrolysis products. Internal surface of tank has shape of truncated cone, external surface is arranged as ribbed, tank is installed on vertical shaft with the possibility of supply of water that is softened, deaerated and heated up to 90°C into tank bottom, one electrode is tank body, and the second electrode is fixed in immovable frame with the possibility of vertical displacement, so that it is permanently in contact with aqueous solution of electrolyte, system of water and aqueous electrolyte solution supply, drain of electrolysis products and tank are isolated from each other and from environment with the help of air lock.
EFFECT: increase of electrolysis process efficiency with production of oxygen, hydrogen, electric energy and heat recovery.
