FIELD: optoelectronic equipment, in particular, stations for protection of objects against homing destruction aids with optoelectronic instruments. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in forming of modulated-wave jamming accomplished at a frequency close to the frequency of the suppressed signal of the optoelectronic device at which modulation of a high- power infra-red source is accomplished by a train of irregular pulse bursts filled by a regular modulating frequency, irregularity of pulse bursts is prescribed beforehand by means of variable control factors and pulse repetition periods, and thus the trajectory of coming of the object image out of the field of view of the optoelectronic device. The irregularity of pulse bursts is expressed by means of variable control factors where ti-duration of pulse burst filled by a regular modulating frequency and ti+1- duration of spacing and repetition periods Tn,; the control factor may vary from K1 to Kn during the control cycle, and the cycles are repeated during the whole process of suppression. EFFECT: suppressed optoelectronic jamming. 4 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
