FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by passing gas flow through carbon- or inorganic substance-based sorption material impregnated with complex compound, namely bivalent metal iodide-cyclamine and, more specifically, 1,4-diazobicyclo(2.2.2)octane-barium iodide complex. Complexes of zinc and lead iodides are also useful.
