ARTESIAN WATER DEFFERIZATION APPARATUS FOR FARMING OR COUNTRY FACILITIES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2174963 C2

FIELD: water treatment equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has aeration unit with jet pump, automatics unit, tangential nozzles, settler, tanks, and mineral burden. Automatics unit has float device and rotary valve. Float device has upper float joined to lower float through connecting member. Upper float is filled with air and lower float is filled with water. Water isolated iron plate is fixed to upper surface of upper float. Permanent magnet is mounted on upper plastic closure of vessel so as to hold both floats, when vessel is completely filled with water. As water is consumed, lower float is above the level of residual water and separates float system from permanent magnet by gravity and, as a result, opens artesian water valve for periodical vessel filling. Tangential nozzles provided for mineral burden stirring in the process of burden recovery are mounted on vessel conical part so that contaminated water is drained into settler after stirring. Apparatus allows artesian water to be automatically cleaned from iron and mineral burden to be effectively recovered without usage of electrical equipment. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction and increased efficiency. 1 dwg
