VEGETABLE OIL FREEZING LINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2175000 C1

FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: line has freezing unit, exposure unit, and unit for separating wax settle from frozen oil. Two mixing units are positioned in front of exposure unit. One of mixing units has stator with exciting coils for excitation of electromagnetic field, and rotor arranged inside stator. Rotor and stator are enclosed in casing of magnetically permeable material. Stator and rotor are separated one from another by annular space of 0.2-2.0 mm and are mutually arranged so that electromagnetic field fluxes intersect annular space. Other mixing unit is of blade type. Line is further equipped with unit providing preparing for exposure. The latter unit is made in the form of solenoid-type apparatus having cylindrical casing with permanent electromagnetic field exciting coils and core arranged inside casing. Core and casing are mutually arranged so as to define annular space intersected by permanent magnetic field fluxes. Unit for separating wax settle from oil has housing and set of separating members mounted within casing and rigidly connected to casing. Each separating member is formed as plate arranged at an angle of 40-60 deg to horizontal plane, with plate spacing being 10-20 mm. Exposure unit cover and bottom have spherical shape. Cylindrical casing diameter and height ratio is 1:2 - 1:3, and casing volume is 1-4 cu.m. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced area of production premises and improved oil quality. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
