FIELD: oil industry, exploitation of oil field with inhomogeneous pool. SUBSTANCE: in accordance with invention samples of oil are taken through production wells. Working fluid is pumped through injection wells. Pool is cooled by pumping of large amount of working fluid. Isothermic line maps are plotted and boundaries of extension of temperatures are determined. Volume of pore space of washed part is found within bounds of these boundaries. Volume of pumping of dispersed starch with temperature of gel formation corresponding to temperature of pool is calculated from condition of filling 0.1-0.2% of pore volume. Calculated volume of dispersion of starch is pumped without stopping injection wells. On completion of pumping of dispersion of starch with temperature of gel formation corresponding to present temperature of pool dispersion of starch with lesser temperature of gel formation is pumped. EFFECT: raised oil recovery thanks to deeper penetration of plugging material into pool and leveling of penetrability of zones of pool. 1 cl, 1 dwg
