FIELD: oil industry, development of oil field with inhomogeneous pool. SUBSTANCE: oil is recovered through production wells and working substance is pumped through injection wells. Pool is cooled by pumping of large amount of working substance. Isotherm maps are plotted and boundaries of expansion of temperatures are determined. Volume of threshold space of washed part is found within these boundaries and volume of pumped starch dispersion with gel formation temperature corresponding to temperature of pool is computed from condition of filling 0.1-0.2% threshold volume. Computed volume of starch dispersion is pumped without stoppage of injection wells. When starch dispersion advanced sufficiently pumping is stopped and technological stand-up is implemented for self-heating of pool and hardening of starch. EFFECT: increased recovery of oil from field due to deeper penetration of plugging material into pool and equalization of penetrability of zones of pool. 1 cl, 1 dwg
