FIELD: oil industry, development of oil field with inhomogeneous pool. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with process oil is recovered through production wells and working substance is injected through injection wells. Pool is cooled by pumping large amount of working substance. Isotherm maps are plotted and boundaries of distribution of temperatures are determined. Volume of threshold space of washed out part is found within limits of these boundaries. Volume of injection of starch dispersion with gel formation temperature corresponding to temperature of pool is computed from condition of filling of 0.1-0.2% of threshold volume. Computed volume of starch dispersion is pumped without shut-down of injection wells. EFFECT: increased oil recovery from field thanks to deeper penetration of plugging material into pool and equalization of penetrability of zones of pool. 1 cl, 1 dwg
