SUBSTANCE: device has preheater, roasting furnace where raw material is burnt at temperature higher than 800 C and where fuel and oxygen-containing gas are fed to lower zone of roasting furnace and tempering furnace. Roasting furnace has immovable bottom for placing combustion material because oxygen-containing gas is fed horizontally through openings in lower portion of roasting furnace. Oxygen-containing gas is fed horizontally vertical sides (walls) of roasting furnace. EFFECT: possibility of burning lumpy fuel in roasting furnace at retained holding time and temperature of material fed to lower zone of roasting furnace. 7 cl, 5 dwg
